Dan Kaplan has been and continues to be a valued member of the Y-ME Board of Directors since its inception in 1981.  Dan is the husband of the late Mimi Kaplan, co-founder of Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization, and he has been actively involved in the organization since its incorporation in 1979.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors as Legacy Director, a one-time Board position as a voting Director that was created specifically for Dan in appreciation for his longtime commitment and involvement with the Board of Directors.  Dan reaffirms his acceptance of this special appointment every two years.
