Meaningful Measurement

Donna Surges-Tatum is the Principal and Founder of Meaningful Measurement, a problem-solving consortium of over 80 experts in a variety of disciplines, located in Chicago, IL. Donna is in charge of managing all aspects of testing programs, research design and implementation, market and product research, accreditation support, educational measurement, and special research projects.

Donna is also Psychometrician/Project Manager of Federation State Massage Therapy Boards in Overland Park, KS. She is the Founder and Psychometrician of the National Certification Board for Alzheimer Care, and is also a Consulting Psychometrician for the American Osteopathic Association.

Donna received a BA in Communication Studies in 1974 and an MA in Persuasion and Organizational Communication in 1981 from Purdue University. She received her PhD in MESA (Measurement Evaluation Statistical Analysis) in 1991 from the University of Chicago.

Donna was awarded her CAE certification in 2002 from the American Society of Association Executives, and is an active member of the Women’s Health Executive Network.
