Maureen Durack is currently the Director of Management Information Systems at Vedder, Price, Kaufman & Kammholz, P.C. in Chicago, IL.  Maureen is responsible for an annual technology budget of approximately $3 million.  She is responsible for all aspects of the information systems at the large law firm.

Prior to joining Vedder Price, Maureen was Consultant and Account Manager for Platinum Accounting Systems, Inc. (formerly Lotsof & Associates), where she provided turnkey consulting services including design, installation, training and support for clients using a custom cost accounting application.  Maureen previously served as a staff auditor for Ernst & Young in Chicago, where she provided auditing and accounting services for medium to large corporate clients.  Maureen also served as the Technology Project Manager for the Ernst & Young office consolidation into the Sears Tower in 1992.

Maureen received a BS in Accountancy from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 1984 and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1986.

Maureen is active in her community, serving as a board member and Resource Development Committee Chair for the Society for the Preservation of Human Dignity (PHD), where she is responsible for oversight of board efforts in fundraising activities including events, major donor cultivation, annual appeal, monthly giving program and legacy funds.  Maureen previously served as Treasurer for the Aplastic Anemia Foundation in Churchton, Maryland where she was responsible for annual budgeting and analysis of monthly and annual financial reports in addition to serving as the primary contact for administrative staff when financial questions or issues arose that required board consideration.
