Susan Corbridge is currently the Director of the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Susan has served on the board of directors for several nursing associations, including the Nursing Assembly of the American Lung Association, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and the National Asthma Workshop Committee and the Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan Chicago. She has authored numerous journal articles and book chapters and speaks locally, nationally, and internationally in healthcare topics.

Susan received a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University in Chicago. She then received a Master of Science from Rush University in Chicago with a concentration in Clinical Nurse Specialist/Cardiopulmonary and Critical Care Nursing. Susan then went on to receive her Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Susan has been diagnosed with breast cancer and believes she is in a unique position both professionally and personally to make a meaningful contribution to the Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization Board of Directors.
