None of us planned on breast cancer.  But it happened, we're survivors, and we're here for you. 24/7/365.

Y-ME is the only place someone touched by breast cancer can call and speak to a breast cancer survivor 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  It’s the human side of the fight against breast cancer – “the people behind the pink.”
The staff, peer-counselors and volunteers of Y-ME wish you a happy, safe and fulfilling holiday season.
The San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium is underway, and Y-ME is there to bring you breaking news, expert analysis, and breast cancer survivor blogs.
CHICAGO – Y-ME is deeply saddened over the news that Maggie Daley, wife of former Chicago mayor, Richard Daley, has died.
The holiday variety special features ice skating and musical performances and delivers a message of empowerment and hope to all cancer survivors.
CHICAGO – Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization™, the only place in the world where a patient can call 24/7/365 to talk to a breast cancer survivor, launched a new website that focuses on the human element of breast cancer, featuring the People Behind the Pink, who are surviving breast cancer and the survivor peer counselors who provide emotional support and educational resources and information on Y-ME’s Hotline.
CHICAGO – Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization™ closed out October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, by opening its heart to showcase the people behind the pink at Y-ME Revealed, held October 29th at River East Art Center.
We have made a lot of progress in the fight against breast cancer.  Better treatments, better survival.  But still – in this country, one woman every three minutes hears the words “you have breast cancer.”  And when someone uses your name and cancer in the same sentence, you need to talk with somebody.  The Y-ME Hotline is the only place in the world a breast cancer patient can call 24/7 and speak to a breast cancer survivor who understands the challenges cancer patients face.
The annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology brings over 30,000 cancer specialists from around the world together to present and discuss the latest research on cancer treatment.
