1st Annual Atlanta Walk to Empower

Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization is pleased to announce the establishment of a Y-ME satellite office in Atlanta. Now, the greater atlanta community has easier access then ever to our free-of-charge programs and services, especially the 24-hour Y-ME National Breast Cancer Hotline. Through the Y-ME satellite office, we're increasing awareness of our support services and bringing Y-ME's premier Mother's Day Event, the Walk to Empower, to your city. Get involved!

Become a Y-ME Volunteer!

As a national organization, we’re striving to bring more breast cancer programs and resources into your community. By becoming a Y-ME volunteer, you can help us achieve our mission to ensure no one faces breast cancer alone.

Y-ME offers several opportunities for you to get involved, from becoming a support group facilitator to a leading breast health awareness workshops. Y-ME provides all the necessary training and education to get you started.

Attention breast cancer survivors!

Y-ME is looking for peer counselors to volunteer from home in your area.

If you're a breast cancer survivor and are interested in becoming a peer counselor for the Hotline, contact Y-ME about participating in the peer counselor training and certification program.

Speakers: Five individuals will help celebrate Y-ME's 30th anniversary by discussing their experiences with male breast cancer, being single with cancer, having children after treatment, the African-American experience, living with advanced cancer and coping with risk.
