How can you make Mother's Day even more special? Every year, Y-ME honors Mother's Day with the Y-ME Race at Your Pace, a day that brings together breast cancer survivors, family, friends and supporters to celebrate life, remember, and have a great time.
In 2011, more 30,000 people gathered on a beautiful spring day in Grant Park for the 20th Y-ME Race at Your Pace. Participants came together to walk, run, eat, sing, hug each other, share and demonstrate how much they care for each other and the cause. Read the inspiring story of Margaret Harte, founder of the Y-ME Race.
Registration is now oen for the 2012 Y-ME Race at Your Pace. You can enter as a team or an individual. You can be a corporate sponsor, or raise money on your own. You can choose to do a one mile fun walk, a three mile walk, or a certified 5K race. No matter how you choose to be a part of the Y-ME Race at Your Pace, you share the experience with thousands of people who know what it means to have breast cancer and how important it is to make sure that no one experiences breast cancer alone.
