Gerry Weinberg Resource Library
The Gerry Weinberg Resource Library hosts information available to anyone concerned about breast cancer. Books are available for lending. You may come into our office and personally peruse our shelves by calling Y-ME Illinois at 312-364-9071 to make an appointment. Gerry’s Breast Cancer Books by Mail allows women unable to come to our office to access our library catalog via the internet, request books by phone or email and receive the books through the U.S. Postal Service. All our printed materials are available for a lending period of one month and will come with a postage paid envelope for patrons to return the book when they are finished. Over 200 books about breast cancer, treatment and general wellness are available to all women living in Illinois! Start taking advantage of this unique program in three easy steps:
1. Access our library catalog through the link below.
2. Call or email Y-ME Illinois to request up to 3 books.
3. Receive the books through the U.S. Postal Service, complete with a self-addressed, postage paid envelope in which to return the books in a month.
Donations of books and funds to support the Library are welcome. Tribute cards which directly benefit the Library are available for purchase as well. Read Gerry Weinberg's story.
