Y-ME Support Group and Open Door Facilitator Training

Saturday, June 28 we will hold training for facilitation of Y-ME support groups. This class will be from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and is appropriate for volunteers who are breast cancer survivors of one year or longer or health care professionals who have experience working with groups such as this in a clinical setting.

Sunday, June 29 we will offer training for Facilitation of Y-ME Open Door educational sessions. This class will be offered from 8 a.m.-12 noon and is appropriate for volunteers who are breast cancer survivors, health care professionals, or breast cancer advocates.

These are both ways we would like to reach out and provide help in our local community. We hope you will consider becoming a part of one of these important programs as a trained facilitator.

If you are interested in being included in either of these classes, please contact Debbie Hayes by April 30. If you would like to learn more about these or future opportunities, please contact Debbie Hayes at dhayes@y-me.org or 703-437-9595.
