What if I don’t have insurance or have limited resources?

You can rely on Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization for free-of-charge wigs and prostheses. Simply call the Hotline, describe your desired wig style and/or prosthesis size, and our peer counselors will make recommendations and mail out the appropriate items. Most colors and styles are available and we make every effort to make sure women receive their first choice

In addition to offering the products, Y-ME offers wig care and styling tips, along with 24/7 Hotline support. Affiliates throughout the country facilitate local Wig & Prosthesis Banks, and often house salons where women can try on the items before taking them home.
